Animal Figurines
Some of my favorite projects have been tiling chickens, ducks and rabbits. Pretty much any clay, cement or ceramic figurine can be dressed up in glass. Prices vary.
Coasters
Cermaic tile as a base, tiled with ceramic or glass. Great for broken heirlooms. $25

Stands in need of some TLC, from antique shops, yard sales, etc. Sand, paint, tile and grout to create a unique statement piece.
DIY Learn to Mosaic Kits
Contains everything you need to make one 4" pot with saucer. Tiles are cut, you just need to glue them on, grout, paint and seal! Great for seeing if you want to pursue mosaics as a craft or hobby, with very little investment. Comes with instructions on how to create the pot, as well as other information about taking mosaics to the next level.
